Archival Online Sources

Digital South Asia Library provides digital versions of print texts, including reference material--especially dictionaries, journals, maps, statistics, etc.

Internet Sacred Text Archive provides searchable versions of classic religious texts, including those from Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Jain and Sikh traditions.

The Digital Colonial Documents Project (India) is "intended to promote study of the rare seminal documents which were influential in the formation of the notions of nation, state and culture during the colonial period."

The Huntington Archive was created by and John C. and Susan L. Huntington is "devoted to providing pan-Asian documentation and resource materials for scholarly research and classroom."

Digital South Asia Library Images include multiple photographic archives, including those from the American Institute of Indian Studies in Gurgaon.

Tasveer Ghar is a "digital network of South Asian popular visual culture."
