Library Orientation for Faculty: Research Skills

Library Instruction

An essential part of the library's mission is to offer students and faculty assistance and instruction in the discovery, use and documentation of information resources.

Our librarians are available to consult with you to develop an instruction session customized to your syllabus.

Consider scheduling a library instruction session or multiple sessions for your class!  Library instruction sessions can be delivered in your classroom, in the Library, or through the library website. 



To help your students identify and effectively use library resources, our librarians have created topical Research Guides that package library resources to encourage student use.  

Our faculty librarians can work with you to create a Research Guide specific to your course syllabi.  

Research Guides can also be linked to your Canvas site.  We can help you with this process, it is quick and easy.
