Course Description

BUS 339 - Leadership in Organizations: Grounded in leadership theory the course explores fundamental principles of leadership in organizations and discusses how these principles can be applied in real leadership situations. To illustrate the leadership concepts, multimedia examples and case studies are presented. A central thread of the course is an interactive component, which provides students with opportunities to understand various aspects of their own leadership styles and preferences through self-assessment questionnaires and to apply concepts and skills to their leadership development through structured applied exercises.
