BIOL 110 is designed to provide a broad background in Biology as a preparation for further studies in the discipline. In this first semester of the introductory biology sequence, students will study the fundamental concepts in evolution and ecology as well as the diversity of living organisms. In the laboratory section of the course students will employ the scientific method to answer biological questions and learn basic biological lab techniques.
